Very good and trusted experience with this local operator. My parents were in bad shape and didn't want to listen to anyone. Crystal and her staff won their confidence and dealt with their transition from their home to an assisted living facility. If they can deal with my parents, they can deal with anyone.

Geriatric Resources is the most professional and dedicated company I have ever worked with in serving the elderly. They are the "eyes and ears" of those who live far from their loved ones and help them to manage a serious illness or aging difficulties. They help them navigate through the health care system and so much more.They coordinate services and resources to ensure their clients receive the best care possible, and the families will have total peace of mind.Geriatric Resources is a wonderful company, and I would highly recommend them.

Mom celebrates a unique anniversary this month, November 2024. As you can read below our family engaged the services of Geriatric Resources and have maintained an ongoing relationship to care for Mom.Crystal, Luann, Kate and others of the GR Team have been instrumental in supporting us with Mom's care. They are experts in their field, highly regarded and recognized for their work. They have become our agents, consultants, friends and provide other sources of support and information to help us make good care decisions for Mom, from long distance.If you are looking for elder care agents, beginning a relationship with Crystal Littlejohn and the Geriatric Resources Team would by my number one recommendation based on our 6 years of direct experience.JVT-Alaska 11.08.2024We engaged the services of Geriatric Resources in the fall of 2018, when our mother had to be moved to memory care due to Alzheimer’s/dementia. We all live in other states, so having Luann available to check on her and take her to appointments has been very helpful and important. This has provided much peace of mind, particularly since the Covid virus shut things down. Val is THE BEST EVER in terms of overseeing all medical needs, providing loving care and understanding my sister and her medical condition. Totally respected by the medical staff and details all aspects of the care. My sister thinks she is "a WONDERFUL FRIEND" and trusts her 100% as do I, her sister who has medical POA.

I can't overstate how helpful this entire team has been in an incredibly convoluted, unique and challenging case. As an only child with very little family, I never would have been able to accomplish what they've managed to, this year. And as a result I wouldn't have my mother today. Crystal and her team are fantastic. Chelsea was my mom's personal assistant. Chelsea was everything we could have asked for. She responded quickly in unexpected circumstances and kept me informed about changes in my mother's behaviors and needs. I highly recommend!

Crystal and the ladies at Geriatric Resources were terrific for our family. When my Father went into Hospice care, he became a victim of elder abuse by his "friends, neighbors and associates" He was removed by one of those people from the Hospice Group Home as part of a scheme to get him into a more profitable senior center. Being from out of state, we had no idea about what to do until Crystal was referred to us via a network of Lutheran Nurses. Crystal was able to be our boots on the ground in Arizona to make sure that Dad's final wishes were what happened. Geriatric Resources put an end to the drama and was my father's advocate until the end. These ladies had to respond like the fire department at times. Words cannot express how grateful we are for them and what they were able to do for my father when we couldn't be there.

Crystal Littlejohn and her staff were wonderful to work with! My mother was facing issues with her insurance company regarding a long term care policy for my dad's assisted living facility. We were at a point where we didn't know what to do and no one was taking our calls or getting us to the right people who could help. We got connected with Crystal and she went to bat for us! She made calls, and emails, explaining the situation to people who could help us. She took on this issue like my dad was part of her family. It took a couple of months but Crystal, with her calm and professional manner was able to help us get the result that we needed from the insurance company. We definitely would not have been able to get to that point without Crystal and her amazing staff!

I have employed the wonderful services of Geriatric Resources since June 2015, when my mother had to be moved to a memory care facility due to her diagnosis of Alzheimers. I live in another state, so having extra "eyes and ears" available to check on her, take her out, etc., has been invaluable and has given me total peace of mind for over 5 years now. The GR caregiver I have employed has become like a sister to me, which makes our relationship so much sweeter. I am so grateful that Royal Oaks Lifetime Care recommended Geriatric Resources to me!

We lost our loved one this summer. We lived over 2,000 miles away from her home. When we found out a year or so before that she had a terminal illness with dementia, we quickly went to her and began setting resources up to help us help her manage daily life and functions from our distance as long as possible. Our loved one had met Crystal Littlejohn and later her staff from Geriatric Resources LLC while walking her dogs in the business neighborhood! This was a blessing, as we discovered Crystal and her team would be close and available to help her with literally anything and everything. Our loved one’s greatest desire was to stay in her home until the end, and we believed with Geriatric Resources on call we’d be able to make that happen for her.Crystal and her team hung in there with her, even though the dementia made her recalcitrant at times and difficult to help. During her last illness, Geriatric Resources walked with us on many different paths as our loved one transitioned and passed. After, they were always there to help us with both hearts and hands to manage the logistics. During this extremely sad and busy time, it’s hard to find quiet to grieve, but having Crystal and Luann and all of the rest of the staff who worked tirelessly to manage each component, we had time to reflect.We would recommend Crystal Littlejohn’s Geriatric Resources LLC as the care management service of choice for anyone in our situation as distant caregivers. But because the management of serious illness or aging difficulties for a loved one is hard for any one person to handle, no matter the geographic circumstance, Geriatric Resources makes it tolerable and lightens the load considerably. These wonderful professionals will treat your loved one with respect and heartfelt care. And hold your hand too.
